My Favorite Chocolate Desserts!

Picking out one of my favorite chocolate desserts was honestly not an easy thing to do, but I managed to narrow down my lists of chocolate dessert recipes to just one.

The one thing that you find in common between all the chocolate desserts out there is the main ingredient, which is the chocolate mixing.

You take away the chocolate and you will end up with a plain dessert with no apparent taste or flare. Some people love experimenting with their desserts by adding in certain things such as nuts and fruits. You’ve probably seen a cherry at the top of a chocolate cake, but it just doesn’t end there.

Some of you may have heard about the very famous Chocolate Velvet Cake. This is one of my most preferred chocolate desserts till this day.

What Ingredients Will You Need?

• One Cup of Warm Water
• Two and a Quarter Cups of Flour
• Two Cups of Chocolate Chips
• One and a Half Cups of Sugar
• One Teaspoon of Baking Soda
• Three and a Quarter Teaspoons of Salt
• Half a Cup of Butter
• A Quarter Cup of Margarine
• One Teaspoon of Vanilla
• Three Eggs

Method:

To start off, you will need to add some warm water into the saucepan and add in the chocolate chips. You will only need to add in a quarter cup of water for this step. Use a metal spoon to stir it around until it is a smooth cream.

In a separate bowl, add in the white flour, the baking soda powder and some salt. Mix this together and keep it on the side. In another dish, add sugar, vanilla flavouring and some butter. Make sure to mix it very well, so that it becomes completely mixed.

One by one add in the eggs, while still beating it after each addition. Avoid adding in all the eggs at once and mixing it together, as it would be hard to do so. All chocolate desserts of this sort will need eggs to be beat alone and not together.

Take the melted chocolate from the saucepan and add it into the mixed eggs and blend well. Next, you should add in the flour mixture with some water. So, each time you add some flour, you would add some water for an easier stir. You should use around one cup of water while adding the entire portion of flour.

When making chocolate desserts such as this one, you should use a nine inch cake tray. Grease the cake tray with some margarine and pour in the cake batter. If you are using a nine or ten inch tray, you will most likely need two trays for the entire mix.

Place the trays in the oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit and set your timer to forty minutes. You can use the toothpick test to see when the cake is ready. If you feel it is ready, take it out of the oven and let it cool down for an hour and a half.

Once it is cooled down, you can spread vanilla icing on the top to give it that true Chocolate Velvet Cake look. As you just saw, this is one of those easy chocolate desserts to make, but it is just a little time consuming.

I truly love cakes, whether the flavour is vanilla or chocolate, I will be first in line to get a bite. When I first started making cakes, I found it incredibly tedious, but with time, I’ve learned that it could easily become natural. I no longer have to follow recipes for chocolate desserts, as I could turn up a batch within the hour. Hope you love it!
