I’ve had these bowls and been using them for over 6 months. I had ordered them from Urban Outfitters and ending up getting the extra big one (12.5″) as well! I wash them all but the 12.5″ on the top rack of the dishwasher but the 12.5″ just won’t fit on top. I’ve used them for mixing and serving but as more and more has come out about the harms of BPA it worries and pains me to think I might need to give up my bowls. Apparently melamine leeches formaldehyde when it’s heated – microwave or dishwasher. However, I still give them 4 stars because they are sooo pretty!!!

These cute bowls came in the mail and instantly made me smile. I’ve used all 4 sizes now and they are very handy (for chicken salad, ranch dip, cake mixes, etc.). They are dishwasher safe on the top rack, but also easy to scrub clean by hand. I will definitely be purchasing some for wedding gifts.

I bought these as a gift for my mother and she loves them. The bowls are big and colorful, and seem very sturdy and built to last. We love ‘green’ products, so it’s always great to find something that is both good for the environment and pretty to have around the house. I plan to buy more of these in the future, for my own kitchen.

I love these bowls! They brighten up the kitchen at our cabin and are great sizes. The most use they’ve had so far is being used as toys by visiting children ages 1 – 3. They love to play with them, and the bowls are sturdy enough and easy to clean so it’s not a problem. Who knew I was getting something to entertain kids when I ordered mixing bowls?
